In all situations we can trust that God has the higher vision, He knows where we are going and what steps we will take to get there. He knows where we will succeed, and He knows where we will stumble. His understanding is much deeper than we can ever fathom and His transformative purpose is Holy.
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
God sees so much more clearly than we do. His perspective is eternal in nature, and His understanding is unlimited. When we cannot see beyond the emotion of the moment, and when we cannot see beyond the pain of the circumstances in which we find ourselves. We can cling to the hope that God, with His higher vision can see beyond it all and we can look to Him and He will fill us with confidence and peace.
Though while here on earth we will never fully grasp the spiritual realities of His work we can still accept His invitation and begin trusting that He is working to transform us from the inside out.
Even when we can’t see what He sees and we can’t know what He knows, we trust Him – looking forward with joy until we fully enter into His presence in heaven.
